Communication activity similar to Simon Says but with a holiday twist. Santa Claus directs the activity. Non-verbal students get a kick out of directing their peers in this activity while learning the meaning of the symbols. Another way we play is to have the peers say "what do you want us to do,Santa? to initiate each directive. I used this same format to create a page on a PRC and DynaVox product for children using a higher end augmentative communication device, especially if they use alternative access.
