Description:
I have used A4 page setup as I live in Australia. Page 1 and 3 are the base pages, I laminate these and then put velcro dots in the blank squares. Page 2 and 4 I cut out individual squares and laminate them, I then put velco dots (opposite to the base page so they stick) on the back of each one. I have made a set for girls and boys.... If I work with a girl I ask them to place the wand under the fairy with the same number that is on the wand. I get them to use the first row. Then I get them to place the fairy underneath the wand (second row) that has the same number on it. Then I get them to count the dots on the dice and place it on the third row under the fairy that has the corresponding amount on it. Hopefully they see that the second row with the fairies has the fairies placed in the same pattern as the dice. This just helps with number recalling up to 5 for preps and perhaps grade 1
